POLICIES.
parking & valet
Ostia has free valet and a self-parking lot 100ft north of the restaurant. Valet is run by a 3rd party. Ostia does take responsibility for damages, theft, or lost items while parking in either lot. We do have a security guard during the evening but strongly encourage you to take all valuables out of your vehicle.
decorations
No balloons, glitter, sparkers, or outside candles are allowed. Nothing attached or mounted to any wall or piece of furniture. Only very modest flowers are allowed on the table. Nothing that causes a distraction or takes away from other guest's experience.
dress code
Ostia does not have a formal dress code, however we recommend nice-casual or business-casual. Shirts and shoes are required. We reserve the right to ask guests to remove or cover anything that is seen as obscene or offensive. We are a family-friendly restaurant and ask that you respect our other guests.
large parties
Groups of 10 or more will be handled as a special booking and must be booked with a manager and with our “family style” menu ($42 per person/lunch, $82 per person/dinner). This does not include tax, gratuity, and beverage consumption. An automatic 20% gratuity will be applied to the final bill.
pets & service animals
Service animals are welcome in any part of Ostia, as protected by law. However, this is limited to only trained service dogs and miniature horses to accompany a disabled person into Ostia. No emotional support dogs are allowed in the dining room. Service Animals must be on a leash, under control, and either on the lap or foot of the companion. Ostia reserves the right to ask you to leave if the animal is causing a disturbance. All other legal pets are allowed on our patio but must be on a leash and under control.
smoking & vaping
Ostia is a non-smoking restaurant. No smoking Is permitted within 25ft of exits or dining areas (including outdoor patio). No vaping or smokeless tobacco is allowed in dining areas (including outdoor patios). Refusal to follow these policies will result in us asking you to leave the property and you will be subject to pay for all ordered items.
tabc policies
We follow all TABC policies at Ostia and require valid IDs to purchase any alcoholic beverage. Minors dining with their legal guardian may order an alcoholic beverage, however, a valid ID with matching last names and addresses is required. Ostia may reserve the right not to serve any minor regardless if they are with a guardian or not.
specific room reservations
Ostia currently uses Resy to book reservations. Guests may request certain rooms on Resy; however, these are only preferences, not a guarantee that you will be seated in your desired room.
outside food & beverages
We do not allow any outside food or beverages to be brought in, eaten, or on tables at Ostia. If you require a special diet, please contact Ostia Management for approval before arriving.
